Casa Tosca is a perfect sunny apartment in the village of Aspra, just a few metres from the sea. With a sea-view roof terrace you can soak up the rays while watching over the lively seafront and colourful array of fishing boats. Find yourself in a state of complete peace and relaxation while being in the midst of vibrant Sicilian life.
The cosy and comfortable split-level flat occupies the third and fourth (top) floors of what was once a fisherman’s house.
A well-presented communal stairwell leads to the front door of the apartment and a n entrance hallway. The bright, fully equipped kitchen-living room is complete with a dining table, sofa, TV and a balcony. Accessed through two French windows, this offers a lovely view of the sea. Also on this floor are two double bedrooms, each with their own balcony, and a bathroom with a spacious bathtub and shower.
Upstairs, on the top floor, a small living area offers a study with a desk and sofa. There is also another bathroom with a walk-in shower. But the real star attraction here is the spacious roof terrace with furniture for relaxation and al fresco dining. You’ll find a seating area, sun loungers and large dining table. The fantastic panorama over the bay of Palermo and the welcoming village of Aspra will stay with you long after the holiday suntan has faded.
The flat is fully air-conditioned, with a modern system for both heating and cooling.

Aspra – A beautiful seafront community

The array of colourful fishing boats moored in the harbour of Aspra cast long shadows on the beach. Little by little, the sun slides down behind the mountains, painting the sky in spectacular colours.

In the distance the lights of Palermo twinkle like an echo of the stars above. Soon the moon itself is visible twice, reflected in the warm, calm waters that lap the Gulf of Palermo.

A light wind carries the unmistakable scent of the salt water along the Aspra promenade. The coloured lights of the bars, ice-cream parlours and pizzerias tempt you to surrender your whole evening to their delicious menus.

You feel like you might be dreaming, but this is just a typical summer evening by the sea in beautiful Aspra.

By day, the local fishermen sell their fresh catch at the small local fish market, just metres from where their brightly painted boats are moored on the beach by the lungomare, or promenade. Within another couple of hundred metres, two other little beaches offer their own little slices of heaven.

Despite this perfect seaside idyll, Aspra is also a practical destination. With the railway station at Bagheria just two kilometres away, you can find yourself in central Palermo in twenty minutes or even less. Almost all trains travelling this line stop at Bagheria, giving you the freedom to come and go without your every move needing to be planned.

For the peace and charm of a fishing village and the chance to explore Italy’s most exciting city, Aspra offers the perfect destination.
